SUMMARY:Summer 2026 intensive: Sean nós + set dance battering
DESCRIPTION:Wednesdays\, July 1\, 8\, 15\, 22\, and 29\, 6-7:30 p.m.\nUniversity of Maryland\, College Park (exact location TBD)\n$125 full session\, $30 drop-in \nThis special summer intensive invites you to dedicate the month of July to learning battering patterns to enhance your sean nós and country set dance practice. Battering patterns may include Connemara\, Clare\, Caledonian\, and Cavan step variations\, among others. \nThis class is appropriate for all levels\, but some experience with sean nós or percussive dance will be helpful. \nThe workshop will take place on Wednesdays throughout the month of July on the University of Maryland campus in College Park (exact location TBD).
