Training with Kate Spanos Irish Dance emphasizes a solid foundation in traditional techniques while taking a playful, contemporary approach. Join us to deepen your skills, broaden your understanding of Irish dance, and become part of a vibrant dance community. Whether you’re looking to develop your technique, explore new styles, perform, or simply enjoy the beauty of Irish dance, we offer a welcoming and inspiring environment for all.

We currently offer two weekly classes catering to different skill levels and dance styles. For those new to Irish dance or looking to explore a more relaxed style, Kate teaches a sean nós class for beginners. This class focuses on the improvisational, close-to-the-floor steps characteristic of the Connemara region. For more experienced step dancers, Kate offers an intermediate/advanced class that focuses on festival style technique from Ulster province while incorporating elements from various Irish dance traditions.

Learn more about these styles on the About page.
