Appalachian Irish Christmas Concert – Hamlin St. Diner

Celebrate the season with a special Appalachian & Irish Christmas Concert hosted by Becky Hill and Kate Spanos, bringing together percussive dance from Appalachian and Irish traditions, accompanied by live music by the Mossy Banks (Sarah Collins, David McKindley-Ward, and Marty Frye).

Through special group and solo pieces inspired by the season, Becky and Kate will explore the shared rhythms and distinct flavors of these two dance traditions. Known for throwing great parties, they’ll bring plenty of warmth, good cheer, and infectious energy to two nights of music and dancing, each with its own community celebration after the show:

• Friday, December 18, 7:30 p.m., at Hamlin St. Diner, followed by neighborhood caroling. $30 suggested donation.
• Saturday, December 19, 7:30 p.m., at Joe’s Movement Emporium, followed by a social dance for all. Tickets: $30.

Come for the concert and stay for the celebrations!

Ticket sales will open soon.
